Apologies to authors who have send in queries or submissions during the past week or so. I will ill last week, and this week I have been very busy (and 'on the road'). I should be up to date on all my replies by the end of the weekend.

Less than a week after officially launching the call for submissions and I've received several stories. Most of them don't quite fit the anthology but not one of them has been a dud.

As the submission period is quite long, I thought it would be an interesting experiment to display a log of submission progress. So for those authors who have submitted a story that I have put 'under further consideration' or onwards, they can check the status by the number I have allocated to their story.

Music For Another World is an anthology of stories on what music means to us and what it does to us, how we shape and it, and how it might shape us.
